Trackman is revolutionizing how athletes train, compete, and experience sport with our technology trusted on the world’s biggest stages. Operating at the intersection of hardware, physics, algorithms, and real-time software, we build deeply integrated systems used by elite athletes and millions of amateurs worldwide. Our technology combines radar and vision-based tracking, advanced data processing, and applications across platforms, tracking billions of sports events every year.

We are now seeking an SVP of Software Engineering to lead and scale our global software engineering organization and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sports technology.

The role

Based at one of the finest Innovation Centers in Denmark, you will lead an R&D software organization of 250+ engineers, which includes several different software departments working primarily across golf and baseball, and with developers in US football, football, and other sports.

Trackman owns the full technology stack, from proprietary radar and camera systems to applications and global distribution, creating a uniquely complex and highly integrated platform. You will take ownership of one of the most advanced hardware–software platforms in global sports technology.

You should expect around 20 travel days per year. You will report to the Vice CEO of Trackman.

Key responsibilities

Technology strategy & architecture:

  • Define and drive the long-term software, and platform strategy across all domains

  • Own architecture across real-time systems, backend infrastructure, simulation, and applications

Engineering leadership & scale:

  • Lead and scale a high-performing, global engineering organization through significant growth

  • Drive AI-enabled development and product innovation at scale

Execution & operational excellence:

  • Ensure high standards in quality, reliability, testing, and release processes

  • Establish strong engineering discipline across delivery, performance, and stability

Product & cross-functional collaboration:

  • Partner closely with Hardware, Tracking, Product, and Commercial teams

  • Translate technology into customer-facing products across sport, simulation, broadcast, and venue operations

Executive leadership:

  • Function as a key member of the Executive Management Team

  • Serve as a trusted partner to founders and senior leaders with strong technical judgment

Job requirements

What we are looking for

  • Education within computer science, software engineering, or a related field

  • Background in global, cross-functional engineering organizations

  • Proven record leading large-scale, complex engineering organizations and teams with technical depth with strategic clarity

  • Experience in environments combining software with hardware, real-time systems, or physical world constraints

  • Strong architectural ownership across multiple domains (cloud, real-time, applications, embedded) with experience leveraging AI in development workflows or products

  • Ambitious and driven to build world-class solutions

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills

  • Thrives in founder-led, fast-moving environments with an entrepreneurial approach
