Senior Manager, People Operations & Employee Experience

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead and develop our People Operations function as we continue to grow globally. With more than 1,100 employees worldwide this is an opportunity to strengthen and scale the processes, governance, technology and employee experience that support our organisation. Working closely with the Head of HR and key stakeholders, you will play an important role in shaping a modern, efficient, and globally connected function.

What you will be responsible for

Lead and Develop People Operations

• Lead, coach and develop the HR Operations Specialist and HR Coordinator

• Build a high-performing, service-oriented People Operations team with clear responsibilities and standards

• Ensure operational excellence across all employee lifecycle 

• Create scalable ways of working that support future growth

Own and improve the Global Employee Lifecycle 

• Design, manage and continuously improve processes covering onboarding, internal mobility, employment changes, promotions, leave management, international relocations and offboarding

• Standardized processes across regions while accommodating local requirements

• Ensure efficient, consistent, and high-quality experience for employees and managers

Build Global Policies, Governance and Compliance

• Own and develop our global HR policy framework, standards and governance

• Develop global standards while enabling local compliance where required 

• Partner with Finance and business leaders to establish clear approval of workflows, responsibilities and decision rights

Lead People Technology and Automation 
A key priority will be developing a more technology-enabled People Operations function, using digitalization, automation, and AI to improve efficiency and employee experience. You will: 

• Help shape our future People technology landscape and drive implementation of new solutions

• Identify opportunities for automation and self-service

• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and employee experience

• Improve data quality, reporting and operational insights 

• Reduce manual administration through smarter ways of working

Drive Employee Experience and operational insights

• Design user-friendly employee journeys and improve manager support and enablement

• Simplify processes and create a consistent people experience across regions and locations

• Measure and improve employee satisfaction with our People Operations services

• Partner with the People Data & Analytics function to ensure high-quality employee data, reliable reporting and insights that support informed decision-making

What you bring

We imagine that you bring:

• 8+ years of HR experience with Significant experience within People Operations, Shared Services or Employee Experience

• Experience leading and developing teams in an international organisation

• A strong track record of improving global HR processes, governance and service delivery models

• Strong understanding of HR systems, digitalization and automation

• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and employment frameworks

• Strong project, stakeholder and change management skills

• Excellent analytical and structured approach, with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills

What success could look like after 12-18 months

• A clear and scalable global People Operations model is established

• Core employee lifecycle processes are standardized and continuously improved

• Governance, policies and operational decision-making are clearer across the organisation

• Key People Technology initiatives have been defined and launched

• Manual processes have been reduced through automation and improved ways of working

• Employees and managers have a more consistent and efficient People experience globally

We are located at DTU Science Park in Hørsholm. We take great pride in the state-of-art building we have designed! The office features bright meeting rooms, coffee areas to catch up with colleagues, a large testing arena with simulators available for employees and a fitness center, everything surrounded by a beautiful forest and respecting the environment. We made sure to utilize the newest technologies to be energy efficient and be mindful of ventilation and sound propagation.
