Job description
Trackman is looking for a Junior Hardware Engineer
We offer an exciting opportunity in our R&D hardware team. At Trackman we are growing, as we are constantly striving to develop, produce and deploy our market leading sport tracking solutions within golf, baseball, football and more. Our Innovative products are based on multi sensor technology including radar and vision-based sensors to measure anything that enables sports enthusiasts to improve their game. We’re therefore looking for a motivated, junior hardware engineer for product design of digital and DC power supply solutions.
Are you our new Junior Hardware Engineer?
You will have a close working relationship with our talented mechanical- & electrical engineers in R&D hardware, tracking, and software, as well as colleagues from our in-house production, sourcing, and management. You will have the opportunity to engage with various digital technologies in both high and low volume.
What will you be doing?
- Develop Digital Electronics: Work on designing, developing, and verifying High to Low-speed digital circuits, including Computer Modules ( COMe, SMARC, DIMM-PC, etc ) FPGAs, Camera Sensors ( CMOS ), High performance ADCs, DACs, microcontrollers (MCUs), USB and LAN controllers, and power management integrated circuits (ICs). You’ll gain practical experience with components essential to modern electronics systems.
- Implement Power Solutions: Support the development of small DC power supplies and power management circuits, ensuring efficient, reliable power distribution within our hardware designs. Working with DC/DC PSU topologies like Boost, Buck, Boost-Buck, Sepic, Flyback and Forward.
- Use Advanced Testing Equipment: Gain hands-on experience with signal generators and digital oscilloscopes for signal analysis and circuit debugging, helping you develop a solid foundation and documenting measurements in testing and verification of electronic designs.
- Design Multilayer PCBs: Participate in the layout, stack-up and constraints driven designs of multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs), from schematic entry to placement and routing, ensuring designs meet performance, quality, and manufacturability standards.
- Perform Design Simulations: Use LTspice to simulate and validate designs, allowing you to optimize circuit performance and troubleshoot potential issues before hardware production.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work alongside our R&D, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs align with overall product requirements and are optimized for production.
- Document and Improve Designs: Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for designs, including schematics, bills of materialsand design rationales, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design and testing practices
- Support and Optimize Production: Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes, troubleshooting hardware-related issues as they arise, and implementing improvements to optimize quality and production yield
Job requirements
What are we looking for?
- Minimum B.Sc/Eng. In Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field. Knowledge of High to Low-speed digital electronics, circuit design, and power systems will provide a strong foundation for this role. Working with interfaces and standards like USB3.x, PCIe, LAN, DDR4, LVDS, SPI, I2C, I2S, PDM.
- Basic understanding of digital and analog circuits, PCB design principles, and electronic components. Familiarity with tools like LTspice or other simulation software, as well as experience with oscilloscopes and signal generators, is a plus
- 0- 5+ years’ experience from high-end products and design-for-manufacture.
- Basic user of relevant lab test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, spectrum-signal generators, etc.)
- Willingness to work closely with other engineers, as well as with production and quality teams. Success in this role requires openness to feedback, readiness to learn, and a collaborative mindset. Basic experience with Microwave circuit simulation tools.
- You’re a team worker with good social skills and routined in dealing with colleagues, as well as internal- and external customers.
