Junior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Junior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join Trackman and grow into the world of modern IT operations.

The role

This is a junior position for someone who is looking to kickstart their career in IT infrastructure, DevOps, and modern operations powered by Linux, containers, and open-source software. We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, desire to learn, and deep interest in the Linux ecosystem.

As part of our team, you’ll collaborate closely with software developers, technical support, and field operations. You’ll help design new solutions and troubleshoot real-world challenges, supporting customers from our headquarters in Denmark to installations across Europe, the US, and Japan.

You’ll also get exposure to the technology that makes Trackman unique, from Doppler radar systems to machine vision and advanced 3D graphics. Your work will sit at the core of how these technologies are deployed, monitored, and maintained in the real world.

What will you do?  

• Automate deployment and configuration of Linux-based systems using scripts and configuration management systems 

• Build tools and services that enable our software solutions to run on a scale on physical servers, virtual machines, and cloud infrastructure 

• Setup observability pipelines using logs, metrics, and traces 

• Troubleshoot problems on network, server, and cloud infrastructure 

Who are you?  

• You have an education within computer science, software engineering, or a related field

• You have some experience with system administration, network and firewall configuration, or software development 

• You have experience working with Linux and open-source tools 

• You have a basic understanding of computer networks, protocols, and security 

• You can write useful code in a programming or a scripting language such as python, Rust, C# or Java 

• You are familiar with containerized environments such as Docker or Kubernetes

The Office  

We are located at DTU Science Park in Hørsholm. We take great pride in the state-of-art building we have designed! The office features bright meeting rooms, coffee areas to catch up with colleagues, a large testing arena with simulators available for employees and a fitness center, everything surrounded by a beautiful forest and respecting the environment. We made sure to utilize the newest technologies to be energy efficient and be mindful of ventilation and sound propagation.
