Job description
Join our Golf Insights team and work hands-on with one of the world’s richest data ecosystems in golf. You’ll be appointed to specific product segments and deliver insights that foster data-driven decisions internally and external customers.
Our team is responsible for the transformational data modelling utilized in different consumption layers, driving meaningful accessible insights. We are on a continuous journey to strengthen our foundation of augmented analytics, which you will be expected to contribute to.
We collaborate closely with the product teams as well as various R&D functions, to deliver insights that drive product development and customer business success.
Your Profile
We are looking for a Data Science & BI Developer to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. We expect you to have 3+ years of experience in BI and analytics or related fields. Golf knowledge and passion for the sport is a plus, while we also expect that you are:
Motivated, proactive, and a fast learner
Curious about working with complex data
Enthusiastic about using AI tools to work smarter and build better
Excited by the idea of building high-quality BI tools that have a real-world impact
Eager to grow in an international, collaborative, and sports-driven environment
You have some hands-on experience with SQL and dashboards (Power BI or similar), and ideally some exposure to Microsoft Fabric. You’re comfortable working with data from initial transformations to final reports, and you're energized by the opportunity to bring AI into how insights are created and consumed.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
Leverage AI development tools to accelerate BI deliverables and improve output quality
Explore and implement augmented analytics capabilities to enhance how end users interact with data
Develop and optimize data models and schemas
Collaborate with data engineers to acquire and prepare data
Work with product owners and internal stakeholders to define BI needs
Job requirements
A master's degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a similar data-related field
Experience writing SQL and working with relational databases
Proficiency with Power BI or other dashboarding tools, while broader experience in Microsoft Fabric is a plus
Experience with dbt
A proactive, independent approach – you enjoy owning your tasks and learning as you go
Fluent in English and comfortable working in a cross-cultural team
