Job description
We are looking for a Content Specialist to own the planning, production, and delivery of high quality content for one of our key business verticals (Product, Brand, or Commercial).
This role sits at the intersection of a deep passion for golf, creative production and channel expertise. You will act as the content owner for your vertical, working closely with our vertical managers, creative team and stakeholders to ensure we produce relevant, well-crafted content that is purpose-built for each channel.
The role is not about publishing on social media only or community management. It is about turning strategy into excellent content, consistently, on time, and at a high creative standard.
What you will be responsible for
Content Production & Delivery Ownership (approx. 80%) You own the end-to-end delivery of content for your vertical with a clear focus on quality, relevance, and roadmap alignment.
Production Ownership: Take full ownership of smaller and medium-sized productions from brief to execution. This includes project system tasks, updates and feedback all handled in our project system Monday and Figma but may include other systems.
Executional Support: Provide executional support on Large and X-Large productions, working alongside the wider creative team.
Roadmap Alignment: Hold complete ownership of aligning the vertical marketing roadmap with the content calendar to ensure consistency.
Briefing: Translate projects and channel strategy into clear, actionable content briefs.
Creative Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the creative team to shape concepts, formats, and executions, leading the feedback loop to ensure content is elevated before publication.
Timeline Management: Manage dependencies and priorities to ensure a steady and reliable content output.
Basic project-based community management: responding to comments and feedback on our channels.
Basic project based post-performance and reporting: sharing the story behind the data for set project initiatives on a consistent basis.
Channel Growth & Strategic Implementation (approx. 20%) You will dedicate 1 day a week (20% of your time) to channel-specific projects that drive long-term growth and operational improvements. This time is distinct from daily production and is focused on ensuring our strategy translates into results.
Drive Channel Excellence: Actively participate and drive Channel Excellence sessions and lead the implementation of resulting initiatives within your vertical.
Translate Strategy to Action: Bridge the gap between high-level channel strategy and day to-day execution; you are the one who makes the growth strategy happen on the ground.
Proactive Optimization: Go beyond basic channel hygiene by identifying opportunities for growth and testing new initiatives
Platform Mastery: Monitor platform updates and best practices, translating them into practical recommendations to keep our content ahead of the curve.
Project-Based Reporting: Conduct data reporting and analysis for specific product-related campaigns or channel performances (moving away from general monthly reporting to focused, actionable insights).
Roadmap Development: Support the development of the roadmap by providing insights on what formats and topics are performing best. Continuous Improvement: Share project based learnings with stakeholders and the creative team to continuously raise the bar on output quality.
