Indoor Golf Delivery and Operations Manager

Job description

Do you have a passion for technical project installations involving both hardware and IT-infrastructure? And do you thrive when managing customer projects and working with international teams?  


Working out of our Tokyo office, we are looking for people with a passion for operations, a basic understanding of construction and experience working in an international environment. People who can keep an eye on all the details also when the schedule is tight. The desired candidate enjoys working on demanding timelines with flexible hours as required to meet the project schedule and takes pride in delivering best-in-class golf simulators to commercial and private customers. The position calls for a high level of flexibility and willingness to perform various job duties and roles as needed.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Manage customer projects and support the sales process. Take-over after project signature, plan and manage the golf simulator installation, ensure highest customer satisfaction.
  • Travel on-site to perform the physical installation together with a junior installer.
  • Build a flexible network of golf simulator installation resources.  
  • Schedule, execute, and report all indoor golf installations in Japan.
  • Ensure adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures from TrackMan HQ and the US indoor golf team.
  • Build efficient operation processes including documentation in English.
  • Collaborate with US indoor golf team (3D renderings), HQ teams (product owners, support) and the sales team in Japan. 
  • Establish and manage a network of suppliers (sourcing of electronics, hitting matts, and other accessories in Japan) and TrackMan’s hardware stock in Japan.
  • Assist customers in setting up and operating TrackMan simulators.
  • Assist with TrackMan Range and TrackMan Baseball installations, as required.


  • Fluent in Japanese and advanced business English (collaboration with US and HQ team).  Experience working with international companies is an advantage. 
  • Experience in operations with physical products (stock management, supplier management).
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer issues and cabling issues.
  • Ability to use required hand tools to secure and terminate wire/cables. Must be skilled and interested in manual work (e.g. interior build out).  
  • Attention to detail. Must provide timely response to issues and meet scheduled dates.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Good understanding of basic AV and PC components.
  • Passion, drive, excellent work ethics also when working on your own at remote locations.
  • Understanding or playing golf is a plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; domestic travel: greater than 50%; potential night and weekend availability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook.
