Are you structured and a strong communicator? Are you technically curious, eager to learn new  skills, and would you like to make an impact on your job? Then you might be our new student assistant in the Infrastructure DevOps team in the R&D department at Trackman in Vedbæk/Hørsholm.


Job Description
Trackman is a dynamic and innovative Sports technology company committed to pushing the boundaries. We are seeking a motivated and talented student to join our team as a Student Assistant in the Linux DevOps department. This position provides a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in a real-world, fast-paced environment. You will be assisting in deploying SW all around the world on both physical and virtual servers.


Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Assist in the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux servers
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain applications in a Linux environment
  • Contribute to the automation of deployment and monitoring processes
  • Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to ensure optimal functionality
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Documenting your work

Job requirements

The ideal candidate

  • Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of version control systems (Git)
  • You can communicate in English in writing and speaking
  • Knowledge of AZURE will be an advantage.

You will have plenty of opportunities to acquire practical knowledge within a range of DevOps disciplines in a growing and truly international company. Your own capabilities and willingness to learn will be the starting point for your learning curve. You will have the flexibility to organize your work hours/days, and we expect you can help us between 10 to 20 hours per week. We will take into consideration exam periods, class schedules and workload to be sure you can have a great learning experience both at Trackman and at your university.
