NCAA Account Manager, TrackMan Baseball

Job description

We are seeking an Account Manager to help oversee our expanding TrackMan Baseball NCAA service offerings and business. The Account Manager will build trusting, long-term relationships with our collegiate customers. In this role, you will oversee current customer accounts, identify and develop new business from existing customers, and actively seek new sales opportunities. 


The Account Manager role will have a major impact on the growth and use of analytics in the college game. You will identify and present new opportunities to improve the customers’ overall TrackMan experience and growth of the business. The NCAA Account Manager will be responsible for communicating with existing and new customers, and with internal stakeholders including Field Operations, Technical Support, Product, Data Operations and others. 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Account Management

Serving as TrackMan’s primary point of contact with Collegiate customers, you will:

  • Develop and maintain, strong and trusting relationships with customers through effective communication and a customer-focused approach.
  • Work in close collaboration with your manager to negotiate, write and administer contracts and amendments.
  • Work in close collaboration with TrackMan field operations, engineering and data operations to ensure that contractual obligations are met, issues raised by customers are addressed by TrackMan in a timely manner, and customers are satisfied with products and services. 
  • Work in close collaboration with TrackMan finance to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices, and support the development of finance reports for TrackMan management
  • Work in close collaboration with your manager to develop hardware and revenue forecasts based on your knowledge of customer needs, budgets, and timelines.

Business Development

Serving as the business lead for TrackMan baseball in the collegiate market, you will:

  • Identify, research and quantify new business opportunities across all segments of the collegiate market. Present findings to management for consideration.
  • Collaborate with TrackMan US and Denmark-based product and engineering teams to determine technical needs and requirements for new business opportunities.


  • Lead the sales efforts for our TrackMan Baseball Stadium Systems in the NCAA and collegiate market. 
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with entire TrackMan Baseball business and sales team to grow the overall collegiate business.


We expect you to fulfill at least one of the following:

  • Experience managing and/or writing detailed contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and good public speaker.
  • Highly detailed oriented
  • Strong understanding and love of the game of baseball, and the use and application of analytics to the game
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in account management and/or sales in a technology, data, or sports-driven company
  • 3+ years of coaching at the collegiate or professional level
